Access to nature has been proven to promote healing and wellbeing, and hospital gardens provide a welcome escape from the clinical environment of the hospital ward.

“It’s such a wonderful hospital, lots of smiles and happy faces. The garden is such an oasis, I come out to just reflect and to speak to other patients who are going through the same as I am. Last week I came out with cuppa to watch the sunset, it is so peaceful.”
