An inclusive children’s theatre company in Islington
Angel Shed is an inclusive children’s theatre company based in Islington, North London, with the objective to provide children and young people, regardless of ability or background, the opportunity to participate in the performing arts.
The Dance Company project develops skills in contemporary dance techniques, explores different styles of choreography and work as an ensemble to create original pieces of dance theatre, culminating in a creative piece at the end of each term.
The Music Collective project helps members to learn or develop their capabilities on a range of instruments, compose songs and perform and record them in an ensemble in a professional recording studio.

Our specialist music and dance groups are such an exciting addition to Angel Shed’s core groups as they allow our members to further explore areas of the performing arts. As the artistic content is always driven by the members, there has been a positive sense of creative agency developing since we launched these in January 2020 and these groups extend our members’ awareness of their own abilities, which in turn builds trust and confidence.”
